With the new Grand Cherokee Laredo, Jeep is trying to set a higher standard, with the style and elegance of luxury cars and a seemingly endless list of features.

Beginning with four wheel anti-lock disc brakes, front and side airbags, AC, 115 volt auxillary power outlet, and the list goes on and on. For the drivetrain, we have the pentastar 3.6L V6 engine with 24 valve, double overhead camshafts, and variable valve timing. The pentastar engine delivers 290 horsepower and gives the Grand Cherokee Laredo a best in class tow rating of 7400lbs. The engine is coupled with a 5 speed automatic transmission using electronic controls and the overall performance is delivering that higher standard rating which was set by its iconic ancestors, the Army Jeeps.
